Sassy, silly, and quite sensational, this young mare is promising to be one of our best homebreds.

Parented by two of our best Russian imports, Biserka is developing into a spectacular show horse, both in-hand and under saddle. She has been awarded numerous halter and dressage championships already, with an Arabian Fillies season championship from the YHA being the highlight of her young career thus far. She continues to impress in the dressage ring as well, with a multitude of championships and reserves from the CCDF among other independent events.

Sired by our founding straight Russian sire, Prost, and out of one our best straight Russian mares, Beralka, Biserka was bred for sporting success. Both of her parents are incredibly talented dressage horses, rising through the ranks while competing alongside some of the best warmbloods in Counter Canter. Biserka has inherited their correct conformations, work ethics and talent to great affect -- we couldn't be more pleased with this cross!

Biserka's pedigree is remarkably diverse for a straight Russian Arabian, combining two of Tersk Stud's best and most hardworking sire lines: Latif and Nazeer through his prepotent son, Aswan. Both of her grandsires are proven show horses with her paternal grandsire, Madiar, contributing a considerable amount of athleticism showcased by his successful racing career.

Biserka herself is a correct, compact, and powerful young mare. Although she has not inherited her dam's professionalism or her sire's commandeering personality, she is loyal, intelligent and charming enough. As she matures she continues to improve her work ethic and take everything a bit more seriously, which has greatly contributed to her growing list of accolades. As she continues her training and more promise is revealed, we greatly what's possible for her as a sport horse and as a future progenitor of her line.
